This article proposes the implementation of a Reliability-Based Maintenance System (RCM) at the Ajesf office (Toyota – Saurimo), with the objective of reducing defects, optimizing maintenance services and minimizing automobile depreciation. Therefore, foram applied criticality analyses, classification of failure mode analysis (FMEA) and a bibliographic review on maintenance strategies. An analysis of two records of failures that occurred between January and June 2024 allowed us to identify the cooling, cooling and ignition systems as most critical. As a solution, it is recommended to adopt a structured plan for preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, associated with the use of management software for planning and recording interventions. Additionally, the importance of training the technical equipment and optimizing the stock of critical parts is highlighted. It is concluded that the application of these strategies contributes to the reduction of operational costs, the increase in vehicle reliability and improved security in office operations, as well as the support of digital tools for efficient management and data-based decisions.
