El control de los lanzadores del equipo de béisbol de la Universidad de Moa

Abstract

In Baseball, one of the most important areas in obtaining results is pitching, since the pitcher is geographically located in the center of the field and is the position closest to the batters. This work was carried out in response to the need to improve the control of the pitchers of the Moa University Baseball´s team, as evidenced in the training process, performance and competitive results. To do so, theoretical, empirical and information processing methods were used with statistical techniques. The research aims to design special exercises to favor the control of the pitchers of the Moa University Baseball team. The main proposal lies in these exercises, as a way to contribute to improving the existing deficiencies in this team. The validation of the research contribution showed that the exercises are feasible, the methodology is adequate and that they will undoubtedly have an influence on improving the control of the university students' pitchers.
