Abstract

This research addresses intestinal constipation in children (0-5 years) of age at the Maternity and Children's Hospital. Guided with the aim of reviewing nursing care in intestinal constipation in children with the ages already mentioned above, knowing that when nursing care is not properly provided it can lead to serious problems such as hemorrhoids. The choice of the topic arises due to the glaring concern that has been observed in medical and nursing offices, as, during the work research, it was noted that health professionals prescribe and abuse stimulants and laxatives, when in fact a care nursing, whether cultural or scientific, objective or subjective, would have a strong influence on the recovery, treatment and cure of the health status of the pediatric patient with intestinal constipation. The sample and population were 15 children, and among these 53% were male and 47% were female.
