Caracterización de la respuesta inmunológica en pacientes menores de 5 años con infección respiratoria aguda recurrente

Abstract

The objective is to characterize the immune response in patients under 5 years of age with recurrent acute respiratory infections in the municipality of Colón, Matanzas, Cuba. A descriptive-retrospective study was developed during 2015. The sample was 179 patients. Male sex predominated with 52 %; 69,8% presented normal levels of IgG, 47,5 % elevated IgM and 70,4 % normal IgA. 62,5 % had low levels of active rosette and normal spontaneous. 93,3 % used immunosuppressive drugs.
