Human resource (HR) management during crises was crucial to maintaining employee productivity and well-being. This study analyzed the HR management strategies adopted during economic or health crises, focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive methodology and a quantitative-qualitative approach were used, collecting and analyzing information on HR practices and their impact on productivity and employee well-being. The results indicated the need for strategic interventions to mitigate the negative effects of crises. It was concluded that the implementation of adaptive and supportive HR practices was essential to maintaining organizational resilience and employee well-being during the pandemic.
