The objective of this study is to critically analyze the remuneration policies adopted by Chinese companies in Angola, with a focus on salary delays and their impacts on Angolan workers. An exploratory study was conducted, using resources such as semi-structured interviews with 100 employees from various Chinese companies. The main findings indicated that 70% of participants experienced payment delays, with the main causes attributed to internal bureaucracy and economic instability. The effects of these delays included frustration, financial difficulties, and reduced trust in company management. As solutions, participants suggested transparent communication and improvements in financial management practices. Through the applied methodology, the study achieved the intended objectives, as the implementation of corrective measures is essential to fostering a dignified and sustainable work environment, thereby enhancing workers' quality of life.
