Fluency in Overall Oral Interaction in English as a foreign language is a crucial aspect for achieving intelligible communication. Seventh-grade students, group A of the mixed school "Felipe Torres Trujillo," have difficulties in this skill; they cannot express complete sentences due to gaps in the content covered in previous courses, they become frustrated when they are unable to communicate their ideas, and they lose motivation to participate in classes. In interviews with the students, it is known that there was a lack of systematic practice of the language in previous courses, which causes a lack of confidence among the students. The methodology of qualitative research is followed, specifically the design of action research. The methods used are historical-logical, analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, systemic-structural, observation, interview, documentary analysis, teacher diary, in-depth interview, and triangulation. The objective of the research is to construct a lesson system to achieve fluency in general oral interaction among the selected students. The results highlight the effectiveness of the activities included in the preliminary activity system, such as role-play, find someone who, survey, board game, gamification, use of teaching media, and ICTs in significant progress in the development of fluency. The conclusions emphasize that developing fluency in general oral interaction requires the use of interactive activities, training in strategic competence, and exposure to authentic language. The preliminary proposal contributes to fostering language training among the students.
