This study aims to analyze, in light of current literature, the influence of digital technologies on the academic performance of high school students. The research was conducted using a qualitative and exploratory approach, employing analytical, deductive, synthetic, and historical-logical methods. The literature review identified significant benefits from the use of digital technologies, such as increased student engagement, enhanced autonomy, and the development of cognitive and collaborative skills. However, the study also highlighted major challenges, including unequal access, lack of continuous teacher training, and difficulties in the pedagogical integration of digital tools. The findings indicate that, in contexts such as Angola where access to technological infrastructure remains limited it is essential to adopt inclusive public policies and context-sensitive pedagogical strategies. It is concluded that the use of digital technologies must be guided by clear educational objectives, critical teacher training, and pedagogical projects that promote meaningful, equitable, and innovative learning.
